Goose Island and Chicago North Side Switching
Goose Island is a man made island located along the North Branch of the Chicago River. It was once a major industrial hub on the city's near north side, and at one time, had a vast network of street level freight operations. Trains ran on the island up until 2017. However, today there is little evidence of these tracks.
This route is based off of a real railroad that once ran in Chicago.
This route is my first and has been a learning experience. It is a work in progress. More updates and information to come
