Patches for EMD SD70ACe Repaints in Assets\RSC\SD70Pack02

Introduction

This package contains patches providing compatibility with the
"EMD 16N-710G3C - SOUND ENHANCEMENT PACK" from SearchlightSimulations
to the following repaints (full list below):

Features

• Full installation of all repaints via a detailed installation script.
  No copying of files needed.

All locos (the locos by DTG, too) get this patched:

• Dryfriction, Wetfriction and Snowfriction rized to 1/0.8/0.6
  The original values work only with empty wagons.

• Default/Cabview/Textures/sd70_NEW.TgPcDx : Visibility of inscriptions for Idle,N1-N8 a bit increased.
  This is copied to all installed repaints.
  While running the script you are asked whether you want to apply this patch or keep the original textures.
  See "comparison-regulator.jpg" (new in v1.1)

• RSC\SD70Pack02\RailVehicles\Diesel\SD70\Default\Cabview\SD70 Cab camera.xml :
  A Cabcamera with different viewing angles, view to the handles and backwards.
  This Cabcamera file is used by all locos. No separate camera for any loco is necessary.

• Just as there was a question about SD70 by MRL with Whisper Cabs:
  I have added a zip-file "MRL-Whisper.zip" with versions for the Whisper Cab.
  On the one hand the numbers repainted by Michael Zimmer are all Non-Iso in reality.
  On the other hand, the differences between the Non-Iso variant and the Whisper are almost
  negligible in TS. I have tried to create a somewhat quieter bogie sound in a separate proxy.
  Therefore work the locos in MRL-Whisper.zip only with my Soundpatches in the other (sound-)pack.
  Normally it would take separate recordings for the Whisper to show the differences in frequency distribution.

• Quickdrive consists for the "SD70ACu CP" and MRL locos (optional).
  Please install the needed packages before running the installation script.
  Check the list below.

• Inputmapper using key "N" to stop the bell immediately.

• Loaded version of the grain hopper, couplings patch.

I have patched this only as "GMDX SD70ACe Demos*" from cleartrackstrainsim.wixsite.com/ is NA (numbers have some issues)
The driver loco shows now statically the number painted at the side of the cab, the nd and DP variants use dynamic numbers according to wikipedia

Installation Instructions

1. Install all the repaints you wish (see list in "Requirements" ) like that:
   For installation do only plain unpacking and placing of the files in
   Railworks\Assets\RSC\SD70Pack02
   Do NOT copy any files (GeoPcDx, Cabview folders etc.),
   though the script should work with already fully installed repaints, too.
   Copying of the neccessary files is done in step 4.

   Again: You do not need to install all repaints,
   you may repeatedly run the script and so add other repaints later.

2. Install the rwp file SD70ACe-Repaint-patches_MLWaudio_by_kris120_2022-02-08.rwp
   with utilities.exe (inside the Railworks\ folder)

3. Goto Railworks\Assets\RSC\ and run the script
   "Install_SD70ACe-MLW-Repaints_SD70Pack02.cmd"
   This completes the installation of the repaints (e.g. copying of GeoPcDx),
   applies all necessary patches for MLW-compatibility and
   activates the quickdrive consists when all dependencies are fulfilled.

   If you want to add other repaints from the list later you may keep the script and the folder Assets\RSC\x\ .
   Otherwise is is better to choose deleting the folder "x" and the script itself at the end of the script.
