I've been looking for an UI mod that would get rid of the screenshots on the buttons and replace them with flat icons similar to the settings "gears" that is on the bottom-right button, either black icons on white background, or white icons on dark background to contrast with the rest of the button.

Here's a general idea:

The generic "Resume last played" - play or pause-play symbol or a diskette with an arrow going out of it
"To the trains" - locomotive + tracks icon
"Training centre" - square academic hat
"Creators club" - paintbrush + curve with stop marks (something like "journey icon" when searching images on Internet) and a pencil next to it
"Store" - shopping cart
"Train depot" - 3 locomotives icons (electric + diesel + steam)
"Choose a route" - tracks + railway hat + walking icons
"Quick play" - maybe a railway hat with question mark or play button with question mark
"Rail journeys" - maybe some another variant of curve with stop marks, from searching for "journey icon" in images on Internet?
