Clear Tracks Erie Lackawanna E8 Pack [TSC Archives Collection]

This pack is part of the TSC Archives Collection, a collection of mods from the developers of yesteryear.

Thank you for downloading this pack! It contains four statically numbered Erie Lackawanna repaints for the Amtrak E8 Loco Add-On, available on Steam.

Erie Lackawanna was the result of a 1960 merger between the Erie Railroad and the Delaware, Lackawanna & Western Railroad. Both had previously been fierce competitors, but declining traffic levels and increasing competition from trucks (and other railroads) forced themselves to meld into each other to stay profitable. The new railroad inherited 25 E8As; 11 from the Lackawanna, and 14 from Erie. EL first used these units in passenger service, but once these trains were abolished the engines were bumped into freight duties, where they remained until the 1976 formation of Conrail. CR subsequently retired and sold off the ex-EL E8As, keeping one (no. 4022) for business train duties.

1.) Drop the "Assets" folder into your TS2018 directory.

...and paste it into...

3.) Copy "E8-A Amtrak Phase II.GeoPcDx" from...

Assets/DTG/AmtrakE8Pack01/RailVehicles/Diesel/EMD-E8-Amtrak/Engine/

...and paste it into...

And that's it! These engines are now ready to roll in your copy of Train Simulator.
