Description

Canadian Pacific Kansas City (CPKC) - SD70ACe - Fictional Units

This is my first real complete repaint of an engine. Be aware that while it is completed in my eyes, it is not perfect, and therefore has some mediocre detailed textures, especially with that yellow stripe around the big vents, as well as some remaining MRL letters inside the cab.

All feedback is welcome so I may improve my skills!

Montana Rail Link (MRL) SD70ACe engines are the base of this repaint. They come alongside the BNSF engines from Switch Point Simulations.

Installation Instructions

  1. Drop the "Assets" folder into your Railworks directory.

  2. Copy "SD70ACe.GeoPcDx" from:
    "RailWorks\Assets\SPS\BNSFSD70ACePack\RailVehicles\Diesel\SD70ACe\MRL"
    to:
    "RailWorks\Assets\SPS\BNSFSD70ACePack\RailVehicles\Diesel\SD70ACe\CPKC"

  3. Copy all (5) .GeoPcDx files from:
    "RailWorks\Assets\SPS\BNSFSD70ACePack\RailVehicles\Diesel\SD70ACe\MRL\Numbering\MRLNumberBoards"
    to
    "RailWorks\Assets\SPS\BNSFSD70ACePack\RailVehicles\Diesel\SD70ACe\CPKC\Numbering\MRLNumberBoards"

  4. Copy "MRLDecals.GeoPcDx" and "MRLDecals2.GeoPcDx" from:
    "RailWorks\Assets\SPS\BNSFSD70ACePack\RailVehicles\Diesel\SD70ACe\MRL\ChildObjects"
    to
    "RailWorks\Assets\SPS\BNSFSD70ACePack\RailVehicles\Diesel\SD70ACe\CPKC\ChildObjects"

  5. Copy "Paperwork.GeoPcDx" from:
    "RailWorks\Assets\SPS\BNSFSD70ACePack\RailVehicles\Diesel\SD70ACe\Cabview\PaperworkMRL"
    to:
    "RailWorks\Assets\SPS\BNSFSD70ACePack\RailVehicles\Diesel\SD70ACe\Cabview\PaperworkCPKC"

This final step is to be done within the following folder: RailWorks\Assets\SPS\BNSFSD70ACePack\RailVehicles\Diesel\SD70ACe\Cabview

  1. Copy and paste "CabShellMRL.GeoPcDx", "CabShellMRLIso.GeoPcDx", "CabViewMRL.GeoPcDx" and "CabViewMRLIso.GeoPcDx"
    Rename each of the copies, respectively, into "CabShellCPKC.GeoPcDx", "CabShellCPKCIso.GeoPcDx", "CabViewCPKC.GeoPcDx" and "CabViewCPKCIso.GeoPcDx"

Engine will appear as [SPS] EMD SD70ACe CPKC 4300-4315 in the editor.
