Golden West Service Boxcar

Description

Beginning during the early 90s, Southern Pacific sold thousands of railcars that needed refurbishment to Greenbrier. These cars would lose their original paint schemes in favor of a new blue coat with new lettering and logo.

This reskin depicts the SP class B-70-74 boxcar in its Golden West Service guise with original doors and appropriate numbering. These boxcars when rebuilt by Gunderson, either retained their original double 8' doors, were equipped with a single 10' door, or gained a 12' plug door.
