The 1938 Tube Stock were built by Metro-Cammell from 1938 to 1940 for use on the London Underground where they worked for nearly fifty years. In the late 1980s, twenty withdrawn 1938 Tube Stock cars were rebuilt at BR Eastleigh Works to become 2-car Class 483 units, for use on the Isle of Wight Line which entered service in 1989.
This is the Class 483 unit in London Underground livery, with the interiors being painted in the Bakerloo Line ‘Barman’ scheme, as used on the 1972 Tube Stock in recent years. This train includes destinations for the Bakerloo Line.
This reskin is only intended to be used on LU 3rd & 4th Rail routes.
This reskin requires the Isle of Wight Route Add-On from Steam, available from: http://store.steampowered.com/app/24021/
