Description
Introducing the Peninsula Corridor Enhancement.
Hello everyone! I am 1090. My real name will remain a secret, but this is my first mod uploaded to this site!
This is an attempt to bring the Peninsula Corridor in it's current state to Train Sim! The whole route, San Francisco to Hollister is electrified, and I even added a station to Hollister. I have started on upgrading signals and crossings, by using RCAP assets so far Hollister - CEMOF is enhanced so far. Of course the whole line is electrified. I started this project in very late 2024, when we learned about Caltrain being delisted soon. I got to work on this, and I had it sitting waiting to get published. I am uploading it in beta form because I want you guys to give it a little spin.
Here is a list of locomotives I do recommend for my route.
- Reppo E60
- Reppo AEM-7
- DTG ACS-64 from NYNH
- DTG HHP-8
- WPS ALC-42 (unreleased as of 7/1/26)
- And NJT ig for stand in Caltrain stuff.
This is supposed be used with Amtrak equipment. NJT can be used for stand-in Caltrain.

Optional - excellent rolling stock
Optional - used for primary motive power and extra caternary at South San Francisco.
Main requirement - Caternary won't show up without it
Mostly Optional - used for pedestrian crossings.

Installation Instructions
Simply unzip the file to a safe location, go into the file located and drag and drop the file beginning with 078 into the routes folder, found in Railworks/Content
Additional Comments
If any caternary is missing, IDK what to do about that. That is an issue I had on my end. Most of it shows up.
