Buchan Line - Aberdeen - Peterhead Route Maud Junction Turntable mod - ReadMe
The turntable at Maud Junction in the route as supplied is less than 40ft scale lenght and is too short to turn any loco except Tank engines or a class 08 diesel shunter. The turntabl in the mod is large enough to turn all of the locomotives regularly used on the line up to and including a Thompson B1 4-6-0 (used on express fish trains.
This mod removes the original Maud Junction turntable and replaces it with a larger diameter one. The required approach track changes are also in this mod. You must have the European Assets from DTG (also known as the Kuju Rail Simulator Asset (in the flyout)) and the Buchan Line Route.

In v1 of this mod I inadvertently caused the loss of some track markers and transfer points (needed for certain scenarios). Inv2 the turntable is as before with the track markers and transfer points restored. My apologies for the error in v1.

Installation Instructions

Before you do anything you should back up your copy of the Buchan Route. To do this I suggest you go into your Railworks\Content\Routes folder and find the route with this Hex code: fc864163-13c8-425b-9990-019c86bdf49f
Copy it (Ctrl- C) and save it not in the routes folder e.g.your Desktop (Ctrl - V) Then should anything not go to plan you can restore without having to re-download from Steam.
Having done that unzip the zip file in this mod. Copy the file folder marked Content and drop it into your Railworks folder. Start Train Simulator Classic as you would normally do. Go to Build and select the Buchan Line Route. When it is on screen click on the Assets flyout and ensure that the Kuju Rail Simulator asset box is checked.

The mod has not been authorised or approved by the original author(s) of the route, DTG or Steam and you use it at your own risk. It works for me and should work for you. Bon Chance.
