Description
Thank you for downloading the SEPTA Comet I Horn Pack. In this pack includes the following:
SPAX2460 with a K5LA & K3LA
SPAX2461 with a SU3L
Brief story about 2460: It originally had a K5LA, but sometime in 2011, it came in contact with a tree branch, which resulted in damage to the 3A & 5 bells (full config: 4A 2 1 3A 5) and had to be given the METRA treatment.
The Comet Is ran briefly on the Paoli/Thorndale before being exclusive to the Media/Elwyn and West Trenton lines until retirement from revenue service in 2013, and they are still operating as of today on GEL trains during the fall season as SPAX605 (K3LA) & SPAX606 (SU3L) respectively.
I do have plans for the Comet II horn pack and will hopefully drop them soon.
Requirements
Requires the DTM NJT U34CH add-on and the SEPTA Comet I reskin.
Installation Instructions
How to install:
Step 1: Go to: (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\RailWorks\Assets\DTM\GE U34CH-NJT and open the .ap file with winrar (If you have the files extracted already, then skip opening the .ap file and go to the next step.).
Step 2: Go to: \Audio\Horn, then drag and drop the sound files from your downloads.
Step 3: Open the "S3L_HornControl.proxyxml" in notepad. Now before continuing, there is a sound file called "SILENT" to avoid the start and loop from overlapping when blowing the horn. Copy that for the horn start, then copy "SEPTA2460KxLA_1" or "SPAX2461SU3L_1" for horn loop and "SEPTA2460KxLA_2" or "SPAX2461SU3L_2" for horn end (replace "x" for the Nathan K-series horn type you're using).
