Since 2011 this relatively modern livery has been on the DB BR 101-042, showing the train's green emissions in a striking blue livery. The ecophant is a unit of measurement made up by Deutsche Bahn to represent 5 tonnes of CO2, the same as the weight of an adult elephant. This livery can be found hauling IC services all across Germany.
