Description

SS7 Freight Version is a Bo-Bo-Bo Electric Locomotive with Max Speed of 100kph, 4800 kw and 485/351 kN (Start/Continuous). This design was due to the early electrified railway in China are mainly located in mountains with tight curve. The mass production started from 1996 with 113 produced. SS7 studied the technology from Groupement 50Hz's 8k and Kawasaki/Mitsubishi's 6k.
This SS7 was the CR NanNing Group's LiuZhou Depot's no.0083.
