Description
New update 17/04/2024 v1.2: Small patch
Uses official TfL recordings for the Bakerloo line from Freedom of Information requests.
After weeks of editing the recordings for all the stations and destinations, it's finally complete.
These are the Adrian Hieatt announcements for the refurbished 1972 stock.
I edited all the audio clips together in Audacity so timings can be adjusted if needed (please comment).
Features:
- A very robotic voice
- Interchanges with other tube lines, the Elizabeth line, National Rail and river boat services
- Local attractions like the Imperial War Museum and London Zoo
- "Doors will open on the X hand side
- "Take care when you step up" announcement at all stations north of Queens Park
- "Take care when you step down" announcement at Paddington only as the platform has a sharp bend
- Lots of manually activated announcements
- A few easter eggs

- When starting at Queen's Pk or Stonebridge Pk going southbound use a route starting from Harrow and double click the announcement for your origin station then use as normal.
- When starting at Lambeth, Waterloo, Piccadilly, Paddington, Queen's Pk or Wembley going northbound use a route starting from E&C and double click the announcement for your origin station then use as normal.

- Fixed incorrect announcement when stopped at Queen's Park (E&C to H&W)
- Fixed announcement when approaching Kensal Green (wrong door side)
- Fixed incorrect announcement when approaching Harlesden
- Removed duplicate announcement at Lambeth North (E&C to S Pk)
- Shortened announcement when stopped at Queen's Park
- Renamed a few files

Dependencies
Installation Instructions
- Extract the ZIP file
- Open Soundpad
- Make a new collection (eg. for E&C to Queens Park) and drag and drop all the files from the correct folder
- Set keybinds for stuff like play next recording
- Sort the files using the arrow to make sure they are all in the right position
Alternatively you can just open the files with any audio player
