Imagine a parallel universe, in which the contract to operate interregional routes within Germany has been won by the British operator Govia. Govia have inherited a fleet of Baureihe 612 diesel multiple units from the previous operator, Deutsche Bahn, which are now to receive a new paintjob.
What would a BR 612 look like in the livery of Southern? Probably something like this.
