30 of 25C Coach was produced during 1994-5. They were the most modernized carriges in China Railway at that time and was produced with cooperation of Hanjin Heavy Industries (Korea) and the CRRC Changchun Railway Vehicles. They were introduced in order to purchase the Stainless Steel body frame technic, yet the expensive price (10 million RMB per carrige) result as no plan to continue the production.
It was designed to work up to 200kph, however the bogie, designed by CRRC, was incapable of this speed and was restricted to 140kph. it operated on the GuangZhou--ShenZhen Intercity Service since 1998 and was relocated to ZhaoQing--Kowloon Through Train service.
25C was put out of service at 2007, luckily one of the carrige surived and was placed at GuangZhou Railway Museum.
