Welcome to the Westbahn 918 to Salzburg Hbf...
This is a (fictional)livery, made in the PC Editor for the RABe 523 "Flirt I" which now represents a Westbahn-Flirt in order to get atleast any kind of Westbahn into the game for more realistic services variety across Austrian and German routes.
The Westbahn is a private company which started on their base route Vienna-Salzburg back in 2011 and became an international passenger service company which already operates up to Munich/Stuttgart and Bregenz.
The train can be used in Free Roam for example on Salzburg-Rosenheim, S-Bahn Vorarlberg or Munich-Augsburg to recrate original services.
If you're building a timetable mod which would need the Westbahn, please tell me via Discord or DTG Forums. I will send you the original files for that.
Installation & Use Instructions
Download the file and put into your DLC-folder where you put in Mods as usual - then, you're ready to use it in Free Roam. Is this train once in timetable, it will be selectable there.

Known Issues
- The doors from the 4th wagon optically don't open, although their model does.
- Female driver characters stand in the cab, this is a bug already existing on the original Flirt.
- The pantograph may not work everytime.

Momentan ist die Auswahl an Mods die wir zu bearbeiten haben schon groß genug, Wünsche aus der Community anzunehmen ist momentan (zumindest für mich, Freddie) etwas schwer ;)

Die alten löschen und durch die neuen ersetzen, aufgrund der Dateinamenänderung muss man das leider manuell machen :)
how were you able to cook this even though cooking RVVs and RVDs is broken as of the latest update?
It somehow works with some patches in a few chases, but files had to be transfered between PCs and that isn't fun ^^'

Really impresive Work It is possible to do a DB Flirt in the Future ?
Thats the only thing thats missing in TSW... & unfortunately no paintwork in the Creators Club

Das ist das Einzige, was in TSW fehlt... & leider ist keine Lackierung im Creators Club hochladbar für diesen Zug.....
Würde gehen, ja. Frage ist nur, wo man ihn einsetzt...
Das wäre mega gäbe da ein paar Möglichkeiten entweder nutzt man den im Free Roam auf verschiedenen strecken Frei oder bzw. ist dieser zug in verschiedenen Ausführungen in ganz Deutschlandweit teilweise unterwegs und manchmal eins öfters auf strecken die entweder zeitlich noch nicht passen es noch nicht gibt oder meist da keine Timetable für die Strecken verfügbar ist oder sind die zeitlich dazu passen würden oder der zug erst auf einer anderer kommenden strecken fahrbar wäre wie bspw. mannheim-Kaiserslautern (Saarbrücken) aber da gibt es einge Menge verschiedener Ausführungen der züge also theoretisch wäre das für die meisten strecken eher semi-real aufgrund den vielen verschiedenen bauversionen und Unternehmenslackierung

Joa, das wäre halt eine gewisse Arbeit...aber ich hab halt noch ein Streckenprojekt offen und schon eine neue Mod in Entwicklung...
Mal sehen, was die Zukunft so bringt...
