Description

Hello German Railfans! These mods makes numerous improvements or other Gameplay changes the timetables of the Frankfurt Fulda Route.
The Mods as separate Downloads and can be used interchangeable if not stated otherwise.

The downloads include:

  • FTF_BR430_replacement: standard and expert timetables -> FTF BR 423 is replaced by the FSN BR 430, BR 111 Gameplay Pack timetable -> FTF BR 423 is replaced by the FSN BR 423

  • FTF_BR423_replacement: all timetables -> FTF BR 423 is replaced by the FSN BR 423
    Important note "FTF BR430 replacement" and "FTF BR423 replacement" replace the same Train Formation files. Do not install them at the same time.

  • FTF_DB_BR101_Expert_replacement: standard and BR 111 Gameplay Pack timetables -> ported over the IC Expert formations from the official expert timetable (IC 1950 has two BR 101s)

  • FTF_DB_BR628_111GameplayTT_replacement: BR 111 Gameplay Pack timetable -> MAIN BR 642 is replaced by the TSG BR 628

And with that have a lot of fun with the mod!

Installation Instructions

  1. Download the .PAK File

  2. Move the Downloaded File into the DLC Folder of your TWS installation

  • example path for steam users: HARD DRIVE LETTER:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Train Sim World 5\WindowsNoEditor\TS2Prototype\Content\DLC
  1. If the Mod does not work check the compatibility with other Mods before writing a comment about it not working.
  • The mod may not work if another mod is installed that modifies the same Train Formation files. Technically savvy users can check this with the tool "FModel".

Additional Comments

Known Issues

  • The Br 101 does not spawn with ZWS enabled when driving from the cab car or in a Sandwich.

You need to manually run to the back Loco to enable it (and at the front in a Sandwich).

Updates

update 31.05.2025

  • Fixed a bug where the BR 101 expert cab car spawned the wrong way around for the train service  IC 1950

(I needed to replace it with another BR 101 because the Cab Car refused to spawn the other way around no matter what I did).

  • Added the BR 101 expert and the Cab Car to the BR 111 Timetable as well.

  • Added a new replacement mod. It is for the BR 642 and changes it to the BR 628 in the BR 111 Timetable.
