Hello Northern Germany railway enthusiasts! This is a modpack that makes numerous improvements to the default timetable of the Hamburg Lübeck Route.
The Modpack can be downloaded as a full piece or as separate Downloads.
The download includes:
- HBK_improvements_master: all of the things listed below in one package
- HBK_DB_BR642_replacement: this package replaces all BR 628s with BR 642s
- HBK_EC_IC_NJ_replacement: this package replaces all IC RVDs with their counterparts of the Expert DB BR 101 DLC (Cabcar included), it also replaces the EC and NJ Services with the RH 1116 and Bmz Coaches (Expert BR 101 can substitute for the RH 1116)
- HBK_ME_replacement: this package replaces the BR 146 and Dostos with the ones from the Dosto Pack from the Bremen Oldenburg 2025 Timetable Mod
- HBK_Substitution_Freight: this package updates what Locomotives can substitute into Freight Services
- HBK_Substitution_Passenger: this package updates what Locomotives can substitute into Passenger Services and their Probability
(RE 1 uses the BR 182 and has a 0.4 chance for the BR 146; RE 7 / RE 70 uses the BR 112 and has a 0.8 chance for the BR 146; RB 8 / RB 81 uses the BR 112 and has a 0.2 chance for the BR 146; RE 8 / RE 80 uses the BR 112 and has a 0.6 chance for the BR 146; RB 61 replaced by two BR 182 and N-Wagen from the BR 218 DLC; RE 83 now uses Dostos instead of N-Wagen) - HBK_Zugbildung_replacement: this package replaces the empty stock move so that only Dostos will be delivered from Rothenburgsort Gbf to Lübeck Hbf
(the shunting service that results of this is much more realistically accurate -> DB 112/146 + 6 Dostos + Dosto Cab Car)

Installation Instructions
Download the .PAK File
Move the Downloaded File into the DLC Folder of your TWS installation
- example path for steam users: HARD DRIVE LETTER:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Train Sim World 5\WindowsNoEditor\TS2Prototype\Content\DLC
- If the Mod does not work check the compatibility with other Mods before writing a comment about it not working.
- The mod may not work if another mod is installed that modifies the same Train Formation files. Technically savvy users can check this with the tool "FModel".
Additional Comments
Known Issues
- This Modpack is not compatible with the "BPH MA only Salzburg-Rosenheim Dostos 4 german Routes" mod as that mod also replaces all the Dosto formations of the Default Hamburg Lübeck Timetable
- The Br 101 does not spawn with ZWS enabled. You need to manually run to the Loco to do so

First of all, I love this mod. Seeing the Metronom liveries makes me insanely happy. :D
Hamburg Lübeck was long overdue for a timetable rework like this, and I'm so glad to see it happening!
One problem I noticed, however, is that the “master” version doesn't seem to work. The signals stay red, and the trains keep getting more and more delayed. :/ (However, the single .pak files for the mod work just fine, i.e., ME_Replacement, etc.)
Also, would it be possible to add the following liveries to this?
- Eurofirma Expansion for the NightJet trains
- ALEX-Repaints For the EC to/from Prague and the
- 642 Repaint

Makes me Happy to see someone that enjoys this modpack so much. I also thought that Hamburg Lübeck was long overdue for a timetable rework and thats why i made the mod.
I'm not sure about the problem with the red Signals. For me the master file works fine. The master file absolutly needs all the Requirements. Are you sure you got all the Requirements installed and active? If so could you specify more accurately were the Signal Bugs pop up and at which time of day?
About the repaint suggestions I could look into that. For the NightJet Trains there is a dedicated repaint for that i think. I could also use that. For the Eurocity to Prague a would first need to check what train formation file is used for that or if there is even a dedicated formation file for that. If not i can sadly change nothing about that. Lastly for the 642 Formation I am thinking about making dedicated repaints for that. Erixx Holstein -> leased BR 648.3 (traffic red whith blue stripe), DB Regio -> BR 648.4 (traffic red and white dots) and a DB Regio -> BR 648.1 (NAH.SH blue).

So if you can replace the 628s on HBK with the 642s it is also possible to swap the 642s on the new SKA timetable from DTG with the 628?
Yes that would be possible. I can make your suggestion into a mod. Look forward for that in the follwing days.
