Update: 23 / 02 / 2024
Here is the fictional announcement package for S-Bahn Vorarlberg, created by Tokio.

Services:
S - 1: Bludenz - Lindau / Lindau - Bludenz
S -3: Bregenz - Lustenau / Lustenau - Bregenz
REX: Bludenz - Lindau / Lindau - Bludenz
Railjet: Bludenz - Feldkirch / Feldkirch - Bludenz

My other created announcements will be updated to this quality in the future, and new announcements will be made in the future.
The voices now have a natural quality, and the texts have been updated to ensure a uniform and recognizable announcement for future announcement packages.
**All Announcements are in german and english language. **

The announcements are now (and in the future) always arranged as follows:
An announcement when leaving the station (a short greeting).
An announcement before the next station (with informations! These announcements can be up to 2 minutes long at large stations, so play them in good time).

The announcements work best with the external program Soundpad.
It is available on Steam (full version is needed, which I can really highly recommend).
Soundpad is easy to use and offers a clear interface.

Installation and how to use my announecments:

With Soundpad, the announcements are very easy to insert, and they are activated with hotkeys in the background.
You create a category (a service) in Soundpad in the left column. E.g. "Niddertalbahn". In this service, you insert subcategories for each service.
Simply copy the sound files from the ZIP download into the respective service. The announcements are ordered according to the correct sequence for playing.

In Soundpad settings, select a hotkey for "play next file," e.g., Num-8.
Now you can easily play the sounds one after another with your hotkey.

SPECIAL:

New are the special announcements in the "special" folder. The use of this is optional but adds significantly more depth to the announcements!

These include information on which direction the doors open and announcements for special events, e.g., a red signal, delay, or similar.

To be able to use these sounds sensibly, I strongly recommend a 2nd monitor (or a tablet. I use my iPad as a 2nd monitor via the free app Spacedesk, which also allows touch inputs).
For these sounds, you can assign hotkeys (note: "same hotkey in all categories" must be disabled in the settings).
If you use the special announcements, e.g., Num-1 for "exit left" announcement and Num-3 for "exit right" announcement, then the hotkey for "normal announcements" for the route no longer works because Soundpad automatically switches to another category (unfortunately).
Therefore, you now simply activate the route announcements via the 2nd monitor (with the mouse, click on the next file) or with the iPad (touch), which gives the whole thing an even better feeling.

Now I wish you a lot of fun with my announcements. If you have any questions or suggestions, feel free to write them in the comments. :)

Disclaimer:
The idea of using soundpad for the announcements was not my idea.
I'm not claiming anything here. Manny inspired me.
I created the files myself, invented the text and edited the audio.
Anyone who wants to use the announcements is welcome.

Requirements

Soundpad on Steam

Play sounds in voice chats in high digital quality. Add sounds or music to your microphone signal so others will hear it, too.

Thanks for stealing my idea and my method. Even the text is very similar. Unbelievable. Why are you doing this?
At least you could have given credits!

Sorry this is bizar.... This FIS2005 is opensource and i have checked you and this file but the similarities are there but thats not a reason to complain about stealing they are very minor.... The only thing that i can see is that the files are create with a voice computer and the map structure is similar but thats not a right or "copyright"..... Thats the same like i make a train blue with a repaint and a another guy create same with blue and than complaining about "he make this also blue" .....

Thank you for your message. I created and wrote everything myself. I think we all benefit from the mods.
And that was just an attempt.
And in no way a competitive idea.

Train announcements are similar. but I'm trying to add more details, like more connections. And I'm still in the process of learning how to implement all of this as quickly as possible.

For information. Next I'll create the Niddertalbahn, which is currently being uploaded.
This is followed by the Maintalbahn, which I am currently creating.

And if it bothers someone - I can only use the announcements for myself. I don't have to publish these.

It's not about copyright, but about interpersonal decency. The text is editorially almost the same:
"but it's even easier with Soundpad (Steam, full version!)."
The hotkey guide
The whole idea

Shortly after I released my mods with the same instructions and method, this is no coincidence. Of course you copied this from my mods.
As I said, you could at least give credits. That would have made it less bad.

Now that's a bit kindergarten, isn't it?
If you want, I'll be happy to mention you in the credits in the future.
As I said: This shouldn't be competition.

And the instructions for the soundboard are also written by myself. Sure, the method is the same. No offense. And it works great. Soundboard is so much easier then FIS.

This is not kindergarten.
Of course it's easier with soundpad, you've read that in my mods. If you copy something from the Internet and then publish it yourself, you have to give credits. Maybe that's not a rule in any book, but in this case it's just common decency. My announcements mods took a lot of time and then that's important to me.

Sure i will add this.
But once again. Sounpad isn't a TSW thing.... i do audio editing for years now, but that was the first mod here in TSW.

Guys. We all benefit of the knowledge of each other (as Tokio already said). Of course if someone's work gets copied, it doesn't feel great for him. But in this case, it was only the idea to use an external program and ai to create announcements (which I think is a very good idea and will absolutely improve the game) and some sentences in the description. Giving credits is always good, because then the one with the original idea gets something "back" for his work. But I don't think you should waste your time to discuss about small things (like in this case.)
(This all is my opinion, and I don't want to say someone what he has to do)

Thanks for your words - totally agree...

so lets improve TSW. :)

Avatar of Deleted User 3c91d38413aaae6e

NO you copied it word for word!
"The files now have a filter to make the announcements sound as realistic as possible."
You also used this sentence in your new mod Niddertahlbahn, which you have just published.
Doesn't anyone notice that?

Rly?? I'm about to delete all my work here and use it just for myself.

Avatar of Deleted User 3c91d38413aaae6e

Yes, that might be better. Why are you pretending you haven't done anything? You copied exact sentences from my text. You just did it again, even though I pointed it out to you a few hours ago. Why am I the guilty party here or the one causing a problem? Unbelievable.

maybe read my sentences and then yours again.
I see... mine is so much more detailed...

You're just portraying yourself as a victim. I didn't copy any data or files or anything else. And you can't reinvent the language. But please. Better this way? if not, i will delete my mods and work here...
I uploaded Niddertalbahn before i saw your first comment.

Thank you! That pleases me.
I'm currently in the process of completely revising the announcements because I've found a better method for better quality and more realism.
Therefore, the routes created so far will be updated.
I'll see if I can create both routes in the future.
