This mod replaces the the aging old rail singing sound, that are still from the railworks era with a new recording
(thanks to Foobian)
Have a listen yourself:
Whilst the core sound is replaced, it will only affect SPG and NLL, because those are the only routes that have this feature activated.
Enjoy!

Does anyone have a recording of what the old sound is?
The old sounds can be heard here:
Shouldn't this be in Sounds rather than Patches?
Yeah, did the modpage on outpilot before leaving for work xD
Moved it to sounds
That is to say, this mod modifies In-game globally rail sound effects in the game, right? Does it include both the sounds in the cab and the external sounds? It is recommended to provide a comparison, and future updates should be followed up to ensure its usability.
The mod only changes the rail singing sound. Like stated it changes the core file but only applies on 2 routes, that have this feature turned on.
The sound can only be heard on the outside for most trains but that depends on the setup of the mix modifier of the train itself.
What route is SPG?
Sand Patch Grade
I don't have windows editor what do I do with that?
Do you own the game via steam or Epic/MS-Store?
Folder paths may vary and I can't say if this mod will work on other versions. (Only tested on Steam version)
