Awesome work
nice m7 upgrade but wheres the high speed rail sound for it? i mean like when the train is at higher speed it starts making high pitched sounds and im not hearing it on this model other than that nice upgrade
Hi, Thanks for the feedback. Some of the running sounds were replaced with ones that came from the Metro North M7a, which doesn’t appear to have the rail stinging sound. I will likely add that characteristic sound to those audio files soon, but for the moment, if you wish to keep the default running sounds, download the horn-only version listed above.
sounds good thanks!
Great sounds! Would you be willing to put the horn sounds on the Harlem Line rolling stock as well?
Thanks for the feedback! It shouldn’t be too difficult to add these same sounds for the Harlem Line as well, and in fact, the Harlem M3a should already have the same horn as the LIRR one due to how the sounds are used between the two. The issue arises with the M7a. Basically, the LIRR restricts the horn on their M7s, which gives them that characteristic sound. However, Metro North does not restrict the horn on their M7as, which leaves them sounding more powerful. If I’m going to add new sounds to the M7a, I would want them sounding as accurate as can be, and unfortunately, I cannot find any good audio of the M7a horn. However, when I do, I will definitely add it into this mod.
Good stuff, sounds are awesome. Would also support an interior version!

Nice work ,wondering if we will get a interior version?
Thanks for the support. I wasn’t originally planning to make an interior version as it sounds pretty accurate as it is and also because it is more difficult to get clean interior audio for the horn. However, I will look into it.
Good shi nice work
Maybe this video could help for interior Horn Sounds
