Description
The Class 642 (DB BR 642 “Desiro Classic”) is one of my all-time favorite diesel trains.
Powered by the MTU 6R183 TD13H engine (developed by MAN), it delivers that unmistakable, raw diesel character.
Since its introduction in 2000, the 642 has been running all across Germany — from Nuremberg, Augsburg, and Kempten to Dresden, Zwickau, Erfurt, Kaiserslautern, Leipzig, Chemnitz, and Rostock.
We know this train.
We know this sound.

have you changed the acceleration??
but the sound is so good, but external sound when accelerating is a litte weird
and could you please fix this squeaking while driving or turbo or something like that

the sound after the update is just insane... but still tho the inside quiking
and it would be really cool if you could make the acceleration like in real life because it is really bad in tsw

Wirklich die beste soundmod hier auf der seite, was aber mir noch so ein bisschen fehlt ist ein besseres makro falls das möglich wär oder wenn nicht das standard makro weil das jetzige ist nicht so gut nicht böse gemeint
ist möglich werde ich schauen das ich das hinkriegen :)
und vielleicht noch pzb sounds und das sifa pedal ist auch zu laut

Also will "!LUMU_DB_Class_642_ReleaseV3.pak" work with TSW2
I dont have tested it in tsw2 only with tsw6.

I never did get to install it in TSW5.
ehm tsw5 was in V2.3 and V2.5 working. and i have the path not edited! i tested V3 Only In Tsw6! AND PERHABS ALSO IMPORTENT!!! only steam :)

Bei mir hört man mehrmals das Battterie Switch on Geräusch hintereinander. Kommt immer ganz plötzlich ohne Grund. Bitte fixen , da es sehr störend ist während der Fahrt. Sonst sehr guter Sound

Hey, just a question why remove the horn sound? i loved it
The current horn sound samples are so badly improved that I need new recordings XD
i wish for door sound i would love to hear door sound and the PZB switches to be more instant reaction i do have to hold them slightly longer not like 146 193 or others where you can press it and goes quick just fine
Um, can't you hear the door noises in the cab? And I removed two samples from the pzb because of that. I'll see if I can add it in the next instance.
Unfortunately, the PZB switches on the BR642 have a slower response time than that of other trains. This can't be changed very easily, and I do not believe that it's in the scope of this mod as it is just a sound overhaul.
That's right, it is actually possible, but since it's only a sound mod and changes the sound and not the functions, it's not possible. :(
