C40-8W Flange Sound Enhancement – TSW6

This mod upgrades the flange audio for the C40-8W, replacing the weak stock sound with a far more realistic, high-presence screech. The default game barely communicates the weight and stress a six-axle freight locomotive generates in curves — so this mod fixes that.

What’s improved:

1. Significantly louder and more defined flange noise, fully audible from the cab and exterior views.

2. Richer metallic sound that reflects real heavy-rail wheel/rail interaction.

3. More dynamic response in curves, giving the locomotive the acoustic punch it should have.

The end result is a much more convincing and immersive driving experience, especially on routes with tight or frequent curvature.
