Description
Dynamic HUD
Overview
This mod automatically hides the minimal HUD while you driving, and shows it again only when it is needed, such as when approaching a station, stopped at a station, or speeding.
Features
- HUD automatically hides while driving
- Press F5 to disable the mod and see the HUD again
- HUD automatically appears when approaching objective
- Change distance it appears at by adjusting the "Minimal HUD Objective Distance" in your game settings
- Can be disabled by pressing F6
- HUD automatically shows when stopped or on foot
- HUD automatically shows when speeding
- Tooltips remain visible even when HUD is hidden
Keyboard Controls
- F5 - Enable/Disable Dynamic HUD
- F6 - Show/Hide HUD When Approaching Objective
Installation Instructions
Steam
To install, drag the WindowsNoEditor folder into your TSW game directory (eg. steamapps\common\Train Sim World 6).
Epic
To install, open the WindowsNoEditor folder and then drag the TS2Prototype into your TSW game directory (eg. Epic Games\TrainSimWorld6).
Microsoft / Xbox Store
To install, copy the contents of WindowsNoEditor\TS2Prototype\Binaries\Win64 to XboxGames\Train Sim World- 6\Content\TS2Prototype\Binaries\WinGDK

I really like the idea of this mod but there's a thing I'd love to see improved if possible and that is to make the the hud to come back if the speed is getting close to the speed limit already instead of showing only if overspeeding.

Did you mean minimal hud distance or minimal hud objective distance? the minimal hud distance is just off or on

This mod is really a game changer! Awesome work!!
Very cleaver software, I love it. Unfortunately, my game has started crashing, granted I did install the new BCC timetable and other dependencies all at the same time so will have to diagnose what is causing the crashes. At least after a reboot the game works perfectly. Thanks for your work on this, it really is a game changer!!!
Hallo ich hätte mal eine frage ich hab versucht die mod zu installieren mit allen möglichenkeiten aber nichts ging kann mir da einer helfen zufälligerweise
my hud simply does not show 🤷♂️
So this mod is great, works great, does as advertised. However, on some routes - for example GWE Remastered, Boston Sprinter just in my experience, with the Acela you're going at 120mph, before you hit the second station leaving Boston, and this stop appears out of nowhere while you're at 120mph. The pop up for stations is WAY TOO close to the mark, and in this case you can't slow down fast enough. 600 meteres or 1 mile from the station platform or whatever it is is not enough. The same on GWE in the Class 166 which I just experienced and prompted me to write this comment - going 90mph you get the station popup at 700 yards or meters, and even at full breaking you sail past the station stop point at 40mph. You either need to a: fix this, b: tell us which file to change to fix this or c: include the option to tweak your mod through an ini file to the users liking. Otherwise, great job.
You can change the distance it appears at by adjusting the "Minimal HUD Objective Distance" in your game settings.
Hi! Could it be possible that there is a way so that the HUD does not automatically show when stopped or on foot?

Does this work with Speed Boards? Because i can run without the Signals showing, but i still suck at Route Speed changes.
How do I make the ui use the 'normal' design instead of the 'minimal' design? I've been really enjoying this mod, but prior to installation I've always preferred and used the normal design. Thanks!

which file should I remove when I dont want to use this mod?
You can delete the folder
WindowsNoEditor\TS2Prototype\Binaries\Win64\Mods\DynamicHUDModto uninstall the mod.thanks
got mod installed.but for some reason i get to main menu on game .but game does not pick up my mouse clicks cant even quit game.ctl alt delt
You should be able to fix that by pressing the Windows key.

hallo ich finde dein Mod echt klasse nur hab ich es versucht zu installieren hab alle Möglichkeiten versucht aber trotzdem bis jetzt ohne Erfolg könntest du mir genau beschreiben nochmal wie ich das installieren kann hab es sogar schon in denn DLC Ordner reingetan aber nix entweder bin zu doof dazu oder ich brauch eine Brille
