Run8 V3 Florida East Coast ES44C4 Pack

If you have experience installing repaints in Run8, you know what to do.

If this is your first time working with repaints, follow the steps carefully. Before installing, it is highly recommended to backup your original texture files located in: Run8Studios\Run8 Train Simulator V3\Content\V3RailVehicles\Body

Champion scheme:

1. Make a copy of: Run8_ES44_Body_BNSF02_FEC.TX8

2. Rename the copied file to: Run8_ES44_Body_BNSF02.TX8

3. Move the texture file to: C:(Your Drive)\Run8Studios\Run8 Train Simulator V3\Content\V3RailVehicles\Body

Grupo Mexico Transportes (GMT) scheme:

1. Make a copy of: Run8_ES44_Body_SP_0_FECBlue.TX8

2. Rename the copied file to: Run8_ES44_Body_SP_0.TX8

3. Move the texture file to: V3RailVehicles\Body

NOTE: The 'LNG Tender' requires Smooth Side Wellcar Pack 2 and spawns as Run8_WellCar53AP_FEC14. Due to limitations with the sim, this paint also applies to FEC15, FEC16, FEC17, and FEC18. Please keep this in mind when creating intermodal trains.

1. Make a copy of: R8_WellCar53_FEC03_0_LNG.TX8

2. Rename the copied file to: R8_WellCar53_FEC03_0.TX8

3. Move the texture file to: V3RailVehicles\Body

To install the matching black trucks, move all 4 .TX8 files to: Content\V3RailVehicles\Trucks (backup originals first!)

To enable 3-digit road numbers on the Champion ES44, go to V3RailVehicles, open UnitNumberDatabase.xml with notepad and add the following entry:

You're good to go! You can renumber the locomotives in-game by selecting them, then double clicking the road number at the top of the menu.
