6 ATSF Road Numbers based on the UP SS version
Requirements
Must have Searchlight Simulations Up SD40-2
Installation Instructions
Download the attached files and copy to a temp file Then copy all files to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\RailWorks\Assets\SearchlightSimulations\EMD\JRSD40-2\RailVehicles\Diesel
or uncompress files to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\RailWorks\Assets\SearchlightSimulations\EMD\JRSD40-2\RailVehicles\Diesel\
Copy all geopcdx files from UP engine folder to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\RailWorks\Assets\SearchlightSimulations\EMD\JRSD40-2\RailVehicles\Diesel\UP\Engine and paste to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\RailWorks\Assets\SearchlightSimulations\EMD\JRSD40-2\RailVehicles\Diesel\C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\RailWorks\Assets\SearchlightSimulations\EMD\JRSD40-2\RailVehicles\Diesel\ Engine on all 6 ATSF verions
Copy all geopcdx files from C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\RailWorks\Assets\SearchlightSimulations\EMD\JRSD40-2\RailVehicles\Diesel\UP\Cabview and paste to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\RailWorks\Assets\SearchlightSimulations\EMD\JRSD40-2\RailVehicles\Diesel\Cabview all 6 ATSF Versions
You should be able to use these models in consists now.

I want to thank Jonasson Bacon for all the great advise. help in creating files, allowing me to modify and edit some parts of his ATSFSnoot version textures and support to continue this project.

The numbers aren't showing up on the side of the cab and the number boards on the front (getting the missing texture look) but it is showing up on the rear of the locomotive.
Check the DCSV file in the engine folder for the number boards should show a different number for each repaint. The cabside numbers are part of each seperate texture for each model.
let me know if you can't find a solution. You have each road number as a separate locomotive right
I found the solution. Inside the texture folder (inside the engine folder) there is a file called SD40-2_digits.bin and when opened in notepad++ (as an xml) the cDeltaString for the digits have the wrong folder paths.
It was originally: SearchlightSimulations\EMD\JRSD40-2\RailVehicles\Diesel\DelAnSon 7700\Engine\Textures[00]primarynumber_0
So I changed it to follow the correct path of : SearchlightSimulations\EMD\JRSD40-2\RailVehicles\Diesel\ATSF-5126\Engine\Textures[00]primarynumber_0
Changing the "DelAnSon 7700" to the appropriately named reskin/paint folder of "ATSF-512(X)".
It may be necessary to install the Delaware And Hudson {DelAnSon 7700 engine from this site. It's a nice repaint anyway

the up sd40 pack isnt available on the searchlight store anymore
Yes Searchlight Simulations is supposed to be updating those models. Sorry nothing I can do about that. You could check with Searchlight Simulations for an ETA possibly.
