Northern Trains Class 195 (Class 166 Reskin)

Class 195 diesel multiple units were built by CAF in 2017-20 for Northern Trains. The trains were constructed mainly to allow the family of Pacer trains to be phased out.

The units feature air conditioning, power sockets, automated audio information system and display screens, and an accessible toilet located at one end of the train.

A total of 58 units were built (25 Class 195/0 2-car and 33 Class 195/1 3-car sets). The trains have a maximum speed of 100mph (160km/h).
