Description

Taking over 3h 15m to get from Devon to the capital you'll be in for a rollercoaster ride this afternoon. 1A88 alongside you at Exeter is down to 2 engines so caution is key as you trundle behind it towards Westbury. Things go from bad to worse at Westbury with the Berks & Hants closed due to a track defect. GWR are planning for up services to divert via Melksham with the Swindon - Westbury shuttles being culled as a consequence. Set over 3 parts you can expect plenty of adverse signals and slow running to keep you poised for action.

Date: Tuesday 2nd September 2025
Traction: 802013 (Max 125 mph / Non-SP)
Route: Part 1 = Exeter St Davids - Westbury (85 mins) Part 2 = Westbury - Chippenham (35 mins) Part 3 = Chippenham - London Paddington (80 mins)
Notes: In Part 2 you'll need to ensure Selective Door Operation (SDO) is active for the stop at Melksham. You can either press Ctrl + R prior to stopping or re-download the AP Class 800-803 Enhancement Pack which has been updated 25/03/2026 - SDO will then be enabled by default.
Please also be aware that the AP Sky & Weather Enhancement Pack needs a patch to work with the JT South Western Expressways - Reading route, this can be found here by ChiefJack (author of the AP Sky Accurate Time of Day plugin).

V1.1 (06/04/2026) - AI Priority issues fixed at Didcot Parkway and Maidenhead. AI Collision fixed at Reading.
