Coupler Mod - TGV

A mod that lets the TGV from LGV Méditerranée couple to other trains with Scharfenberg couplers, such as Class 395, most German EMU's, ÖBB 4024, modded version of 801.

There are two versions of the mod:

Replacement Version (added 01/04/2024)
Modifies the existing TGV to allow it to couple to most things with Scharfenberg coupler, such as Class 395, ÖBB 4024, most German multiple units. Keep in mind this version won't be compatible with any game updates or mods that modify the original TGV RVD files, since one will overwrite the other.

Variants Version (added 15/01/2024)
Doesn't modify the original TGV, instead adds a variant, for use in free roam mode or scenario creator. It should appear in the free roam spawn menu under TGV Duplex 200 CM, as:

• CM TGV Duplex 200 8car (Scharfenberg)
• CM TGV Duplex 200 Light (Scharfenberg)

Update (added 01/04/2024)
Disabled variants version from appearing in formation designer, since it doesn't work properly. Delete TGV_CouplerMod.pak if it is installed, replace it with either MJKCP_CouplerMod_TGV.pak or MJKCP_CouplerMod_TGV_Replacement.pak.

Notes

• You don't need both versions, pick which one you prefer.
• I am not sure how to get it to control another train when coupled (for example TGV coupled to 395), so to get them to move you might need to turn on the other train and release the brakes.

Bugs

• Formation designer doesn't detect that the replacement version should be able to couple to other trains.

Replacement version: Put MJKCP_CouplerMod_TGV_Replacement.pak in 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Train Sim World 4\WindowsNoEditor\TS2Prototype\Content\DLC' folder (modify path as appropriate).

Variants version: Put MJKCP_CouplerMod_TGV.pak in 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Train Sim World 4\WindowsNoEditor\TS2Prototype\Content\DLC' folder (modify path as appropriate).
