This mod adds the livery designer funtionality to the Rhein-Ruhr Osten DB BR 422. (And let it be special, it's the first mod of its kind!)
The paintable areas are based on what is painted in real life, and I made sure that while the unit numbers are still paintable, you don't have to do all of the tiny stickers and markings yourself.
Any liveries created with this mod act like any other full livery, and can be exported as a tsw2liv/tsw3liv and shared or on Creators Club (even though I can not recomend that, because it probably won't stay up very long and console users won't benifit anyways). And when the official livery designer for the RRO BR 422 releases, a conversion to the official DTG livery designer 422 could either happen automatically because of matching formations or be a very simple conversion via hex editing.
Anyways: Enjoy livery designing on the BR422!

Excellent work, thank you very much.
Nice consideration leaving the tricky numberings on.
This is my #1 hate about some of the livery designer reskins. When I'm making a new livery I want a completely blank canvas to work with. I don't want any stickers, letters or any other markers to be in the way. 😅
It is extremely useful though if you're trying to replicate a real world livery.
I suppose it makes sense if you want to repaint a DB Regio train into DB Regio colours. In many other cases, to me having anything on the reskin is a hindrance rather than a benefit.
When I'm cursing applying a Southern livery onto a German train I absolutely despise having the coach marking stuff already there, as it doesn't feature on the original.
When I tried repainting the Glasgow Cathcart Circle class 314 in the NS yellow livery I ended up abandoning the project. Reason for this was the orange cantrail stripe: it was on the livery and couldn't be removed. Orange stripes are not a thing in NL, so I don't want it on my reskins either.
it works now my fault thx ! :)
How did you make this mod? I only ask so I can make a similar mod, but for the 425 instead of the 422.
Good job !
it keeps giving me a noisy dark template with no textures in the editor, im not sure what ive done wrong, only installed the TSW3 file and put it into the DLC content folder
