Description
This mod adds the ICE3MF, a modified version of the ICE3M that has French safety systems and other small changes to allow the use of this train in France.
Features
- Implemented TVM safety system
- Implement KVB + RSO (Crocodile) safety systems
- Implemented SAL distress signal (flashing signal lights)
- Updated speedometer and power gauge animations to be more detailed
- Modified cab model
- Modified carriage connection
- Modified interiors in the head carriages
- Compatible with timetable mode. Services on MKN and AI on SEH
- Taufnamen
The TVM display defaults to the left one (CAB A), this can be changed with the "Z-CAB" selector in the cabinet behind the driver's seat.
TVM+KVB are automatically activated on French and UK routes if the "Transition" switch in the cabinet behind the driver's seat is set to "Automatic". You can manually choose between Germany (PZB+LZB) and France (TVM+KVB) with the same switch.

I'd say it's quite ungrateful to say this after they spent their days and nights to create this modification. The KAH 406 is half a shitbox anyway if you look at the improvements the MKN 406 has by vanilla already, so this is more than worth it.

Myron, I asked the same question. But when I saw this, I deleted my comment. It's sad that you don't want to port it to the Sh!tbox KAH BR 406. I am not disrespecting you, but I just wanted to make the 1,000 people who don't have the MKN route happy...
Edit: You can do it now, since the new remaster is out for KAH with updates to the ICE 3M.
I love this mod! I was frankly disappointed when I found out DTG hadn't actually added the French stuff to the 406 with MKN, and ever since you teased this mod on reddit I had been eagerly awaiting it. And now that it's here, it's freaking awesome!
Still, I did notice two minor issues that aren't present on the unmodded train:
- The traction gauge stops at 0 when the AFB is applying the dynamic brake, rather than going into the negative as it should.
Manual braking works as intended, though. - The high beams don't emit any light. The texture of the light changes as it should, but the environment doesn't get any brighter.
I've removed all other mods and compared to the unmodded MKN BR 406 to ensure these things are definitely caused by this mod.
With all that said, I'd like to note that these really are very small issues compared to how cool this mod is.
I echo that. Excellent mod, it's just these two little issues. Seems a bit random because the features (Light and AFB) shouldn't be affected by the new safety systems...

Orig. Comment: unfortuantley i get an "out of video memory" error. I tried uninstalling most of my other mods and it only occours when i have the ice3mf installed. Does anybody have a similar issue?

Amazing mod. I hope some genius will do the same with the TGV Duplex and turn it into the Euroduplex... would be perfect for the MKN services
After installing the mod, I have a problem with the Mannheim-Kaiserslautern timetable.
I see seven different timetables for the route, but only one timetable is available.

So. I'm considering purchasing Train Sim World 5, and this makes me want to do it more. But, I do not want to purchase "Pfälzische Ludwigsbahn Mannheim-Kaiserslautern". I already have the koln-aachen route from previous versions; would that work instead? Thanks.

There is one issue though. On SEHS, the TVM only allows upto 230kmph instead of 300 or 320. No issue on LGV though. If possible, please look into this.

Super cool mod, but I noticed I can only use it in the standard timetable, not the BR101 Expert timetable, which I prefer to use. Do you think you could add it to that one as well? Not sure how easy or hard it would be to do that.

I'm having problem with this mod in TSW6 - Ludwigesbahn shows 7 different timetables and SEHS shows 4.
Can you make a new mod for both the KAH and MKN BR406 where it adds ATB? ATBL cannot work, because the sources used don't have ATBL. So, ATB will substitute. And for the KAH BR406, can you make the other voltages actually work on different overhead lines/be the correct voltage? It should depend on the DB Vectron. And can you have the KWG DB BR 185 for another version without ATB? And add another version incorporating DLCs I don't own. And again, you don't have to do this. It's just a concept.
