Amtrak Acela Enhancement Pack

An audio and texture enhancement for the Amtrak Acela add-on for Train Sim World.

Changelog:

• Brand new external and internal horn samples.
• Rebuilt bell cue with proper doppler.
• Brand new traction motor blower sounds that randomize between slow and fast mode. (Eventually overrides to fast mode permanently)
• Corrected inverter pitch curves. (Phase shift now occurs at 17mph rather than 30mph)
• Improved compressor sound. (Hissing sound now plays when the compressor stops)
• Improved cab control sounds.
• Added passenger door closing sound.
• New internal HVAC sound.
• Overall audio mixing improved.
• Corrected TOD screens.
• Improved textures.

Update 5/20/24:

• New internal idle sound.
• Improved running sounds.
• Added randomized prototypical low voltage alarm. (In reality, this would play when the reverser is put in)
• Fixed traction motor blower sounds overlapping.
• Added longer traction motor blower shut off times. (Immediate, 10 seconds, and 30 seconds)
• Fixed internal horn not sounding at certain angles.
• Fixed speedometer not displaying red bar.
• Corrected doppler on all sounds.
• Improved audio mixing.

Update 4/5/26:

• New side vent texture to better match rest of textures.
• Changed E-Bell sound.
• Added bronze bell sound.
• Improved audio mixing.

Update 4/7/26:

• New exterior HVAC sound for coaches.
• Improved audio mixing.

Known Issues:

• Passenger door opening sound cannot be added due to limitations.
