Description
Update the dependencies mod - without the EP won't work!!!
After a long time of developing the Bahnpfuschhochschule is presenting the "BR 612 Expansion Pack" featuring a whole new soundset and many new features/repaints in one .pak
Update 01.08.2025:
- Non GSM-R version added after many requests
- Small fix in the GSM-R implementation
Finally, the long awaited update to the 612 EP is here.
What has changed you might ask?
Here is a list of everything changed in this update of the mod:
- Implementation of the GSM-R
- A working foot-horn, which will play both horns at the same time
- Faster levers
- New and redone engine samples / gearbox
- FIXED the issue, where ambient sounds were heard in the cab
Misc sound improvments
- New recordings for joint sounds
- Redone flange squeal simulation
- New run sounds (int. & ext.)
- many more things I don't remember
- The Kaiserslautern 612s will now appear on S-Bahn Frankfurt replacing the 642 and on the Ludwigsbahn replacing the base game 612
- Tweaked interior and exterior lights for TOD v4 (you won't sit in the dark now)
- New GNT / Ebula screen
- New headlight textures
- New objects placeable in the train / failures
- Implementation of the "Gauges & Annunciators Replacement Pack"
- Redone door release / close functions (doors only beep now, when Zwangsgeschlossen)
- ADtranz-Logo now visible on the MMS
- New GSM-R, MTD and Ebula Models
- New ads placed inside the train

Without the Expert 101 this mod will crash due to the GSM-R implementation
If enough people wish a version without the GSM-R, because they do not own this dlc, we will deliver that in a post update - The removal takes as long as the implementation
Installation Instructions
BEFORE INSTALLING, MAKE SURE TO DELETE THE OLD 612 EP, being one of those files:
- !!br612nokinderecke.pak
- !!br612nolable.pak
- !!br612sm.pak
ALSO DON'T FORGET TO INSTALL THE DEPENDENCIES MOD, WHICH IS SEPARATE
NICHT VERGESSEN DIE DEPENDENCIES MOD ZU INSTALLIEREN, WELCHE SEPARAT IST
Simply move the .pak file from your "Downloads" folder into ...Train Sim World 5\WindowsNoEditor\TS2Prototype\Content\DLC
Einfach die .pak aus dem "Downloads" Ordner nach "...Train Sim World 5\WindowsNoEditor\TS2Prototype\Content\DLC" verschieben
