WELCOME!
Hello! This is the first iteration of my Riviera Line enhancement project. This mod is a WIP project, and I'm approaching each part of the route seperatly. You can check where I am in the changelog.
OVERVIEW:
This enhancement adds more foliage, new buildings, new scenary decorations, props, and more! The goal of this project is to just add that little bit extra to the route that I personally think is missing, however I will say I'm so happy the devs did such a great job of recreating my home route!
NOTE:
The added scenery does effect performance, so please be aware of that. Having a custom engine.ini seems to impact the route a lot.
HOW TO USE:
Place the .pak file in your TSW6 DLC folder (like any other mod) then go into your mastery tab (in-game) and activate the overlay. Let me know of any problems with this.
CHANGELOG:
V1.2.1
V1.2
V1.1
V1.0
This isn't required for the mod to work but I highly recommend you download it.
Commuter action abounds along the bustling 4-track West Coast Main Line in Train Sim World 5. Dash through the complex layout of London Euston aboard the Class 350 and embark across the Northwest corner of the Capital to Milton Keynes.

Race through the heart of the Black Country and serve West Midlands commuters with All Aboard Studios’ Train Sim World 6: West Coast Main Line: Birmingham - Crewe! Embark on modern passenger services from the cab of the versatile BR Class 350 EMU.
Place the .pak file in your TSW6 DLC folder (like any other mod) then go into your mastery tab (in-game) and activate the overlay. Let me know of any problems with this.
Works fine, thank you
Awesome, thank you!
On xbox app PC i loaded in the mod and when i loaded into the timetable there was absoloutly nothing i have all the requirments hopefully this changes
Don't forget to activate the mastery scenery layer.
I had already activated it and sadly still the same cause i thought the first time it was strange and saw i forgot to activate then i activated it and still no services
I had the same problem with the xbox pc.. When I installed the pak file in the riviera dlc folder, it showed 00/00 services.. the only option I had was to explore the route on foot..
I moved the pak file to the Train Sim World-6\Content\TS2prototype\Content\Paks folder and now it works..
Hey! I don't have TSW on the Xbox app to test this so super sorry this is happening. Definitely try putting the pak in the Paks folder instead!
I have to adjust my comment.. It works at Exeter St. david's station, but when I leave the station the scenery disapears.. there are no tracks, bridges and other scenery objects to be seen.. I was driving a 66 and it was flying through the air where there was supposted to be a bridge..

Hmm, this is very strange as I'm not having any of these issues. Currently there's not enough comments/reports for me to know if it's an issue with the mod, tsw, or the fact you guys are on the Xbox app. Very sorry. If you haven't already, try downloading and installing the new update to this mod and see if anything changes. Once again sorry! I believe there is also a UserContent folder in Documents\My Games\TrainSimWorld6\Saved\UserContent\ which I just tested and the mod also loads fine, could give that a go.
Works fine 0n my PC, great stuff.
Awesome! Super glad to hear, let me know if any issues do pop up. It seems that the issues are probably related to the Xbox app?
I also get a big fps drop at Exeter..... I have the Ultra preset and use Jetwash's lighting ini for Ultra.
Without the mod 40fps in Exeter St Davids.....
With the mod around 22/24fps.
Both using the same timetable service (1C74 Paddington to Newquay.).
Hello! Yeah, this scenery mod will impact performance due to the added objects, foliage, traffic, etc. In my experience, the engine.ini file has a big impact on performance. Obviously my pc is probably better than yours as you already only get 40fps at Exeter without the mod, meanwhile I get over 60fps.
With the engine.ini I just removed the one I use, which gives me about 55/60fps in Exeter, and without it I'm getting 110 steady fps even with the mod enabled.
Can't really recommend anything other than to tweak the ini a bit with LOD distance and things like that. I will continue to remove clutter or foliage that's off-screen to improve performance on the mod but genuinely not much I can do.
Nice mod!!! It works really nice for me
Just a quick question, you mentioned on the changelog "More detail added to the track from Exeter St David's to Exeter Central (this is for anyone who decides to start from Exeter Central in the scenario planner)."
Maybe someone makes Exeter Central? It would be awesome!
Thank you so much for the kind words! Sadly you can't actually modify the routes themselves, so I can't adjust terrain, make/move tracks, etc, I can only add extra scenery related stuff on top. I'm at Central almost every day so I definitely would make it if I could link stuff up but sadly it just wouldn't work with how the TSW Editor is right now. Currently, the tweaks I've made just adds a tunnel from Central and finishes the track from that tunnel to St David's. I really wish the scenario editor let you spawn at specific signals cause then people could set it so they spawn just outside the tunnel where things actually look good :P
Oh ok... That's sad, maybe on a future they add Exeter Central!
Thanks for the reply!
Hi there, great mod. I was just wondering how you manage to make tweaks such as this? Mainly because I would like to do some tweaks in the Exeter TMD area as it is way too dark at night.
Is there a way of doing this like you have done yourself? Thanks!
Heyo, honestly I'm not even too sure what got my mod working in the first place lmao, I was messing around with where I was saving stuff etc and eventually got it to function. First of all I'd recommend looking into the TSW6 editor on Epic Games and some tutorials as a starting point. If you want, let me know what areas you think need lights and I could probably add them lmao.
Will it work at all without Birmintgham-Crewe? I'm holding off on that until it's fixed.
Seems to work fine, but some scenery details/clutter won't show up :D
As someone who works on the line daily - great work so far! Look forward to seeing more progress!
Thank you! Means so much!
an amazing addon for the core route, I did reach out to the developer but no response but it seems the that wave spalshes that are seen in the area of Dawlish no longer show up regarding the recent update to the game itself. I am not sure if you have comunications with cancelbot but I thought I'll mention that the waves no longer work regardless of the weather setting I have tried everything no response from Dawlish tides :(
hi, has this pak been renamed? I downloaded the updated pak and moved it to my mod directory but it didnt ask me to overwrite despite me having the previous version
Hmm, I don't think I changed anything, as long as it works fine I guess that's all that matters lmao.
Edit: I checked and I think maybe I added mod to the end of the file but I can't really remember :D
alright, thank you, I'm not sure what happened to it then, I definitely had it before cause I put it in my list of mods lol I guess I must have lost it in an update or something!
I was wondering what the San Bernadino is for. I havent got that but i still want to use the mods, would it still be possible?
Yeah I believe you can use the mod just fine, the only difference will be some graffiti and I think the Exeter University building behind Exeter St David's will be missing.
much appreciated for the mod as well
it says it needs dependencies so does that mean I have to have the other dlc even tho its just for the riviera line as I have no other dlc other than the riviera dlc like I have the base game with the training centre oh I also have the holiday express - runaway elf
Technically I would've thought it would run fine without most of the added dependencies as they are just extra scenery assets, but yes, above the download section on this page is a dependency list, including WCML Birmingham-Crewe, WCML London Euston-Milton Keynes, and a couple others. Unfortunately, this is how it must be due to the Riviera Line not having the assets needed to recreate certain buildings or places. Merry Christmas!
I believe this is now making the route have issues past the first couple of stations you go through nothing loads apart from ballast and landscapes. Turned off the scenery layer and everything loads fine. I also have installed the sodium mod and the riviera splashes mod
seems similar to the issues above, though it worked for me until the recent update. I may try redownloading and activating again
Will this work if I dont have one of the Dependencies?
Hi everyone,
I've had a problem since what was probably an update. Now, when I activate the [rivieraoverlaymod.pak] mod, all my services and scenarios disappear. I only have pedestrian access (see photo below). I have all the dependencies, but the wave mod no longer works for me. It doesn't remove anything on its own; I still have all my services and other features. I read on the [Cancelbot-RivieraSeaSplashes] mod page that since the beginning of January 2026, some people have Hi everyone,

Good job !
Thanks! It's my first time using the PC editor for TSW so it's been an experience! Update adding proper branding to the Exeter College building and tweaks to traffic should be coming out shortly (once it's approved). Traffic at the level crossing has been added as well, but I think that's available on the current build of the mod anyway!
