BR 218 Ship Horn Soundmod

This mod replaces in-game the default horn sound of the BR 218 by Train-Sim Germany with a ship horn sound.

The audio used is captured of a ferry leaving the port of Newcastle upon Tyne, UK.

To quote the webpage in regard to CC (A) 4.0 license - "You are free to share (to copy, distribute and transmit) and to remix (to adapt and modify) as long as you credit the author of the sound."

I edited the sound file a little with audio effects, including equalizer transient shaper, sonic enhancer and added reverb. The sound has been processed by 2 limiters (one which is a TruePeak one) by -1dbFS at the end of the signal chain, so it should not clip. This is a spatial (stereo) record and the left channel is a little louder than the right one, however its almost not noticable at playing.
Personal advice and disclaimer to safe your ears and hardware not to put it on maximum volume tough as it may result in damage on these.

• *This mod has been created with the unofficial TSW 3 Editor, FModel and Unreal.pak.
• *If you notice any gamebraking issues with this mod, uninstall it by deleting the pak from your DLC folder. (None occured so far)
• *Tested with the BR 218 add-on in Train Sim World 4 and Train Sim World 5. It will not work with TSW versions prior TSW4 because the BR 218 is loco released for TSW4.
• *The original files of the BR 218 add-on do not get altered with this mod. This is just an replacement which happens when the game loads the DLCs.
• *This mod does not require the routes Hamburg-Lübeck and/or Maintalbahn. The BR 218 can be used in the Training Center or in Free Roam anywhere else. However, if you want to use the loco for timetable services or scenarios, then you might need at least one of those two.
