Website release 47

Welcome to the 47th release of the Train Sim Community website. In this release, several improvements have been made to the way you submit your mods to the website.

Here's what's new:

Step-by-step submission form

The submission and update form has been reworked into a 5-step guided wizard, instead of being one long (and frankly overwhelming) page.

Drag-and-drop uploads with instant preview

Images and files can now be dragged directly onto the submission form. Images show a preview immediately as they upload, no more waiting until you hit Submit. You can reorder images and set the thumbnail straight away.

Semantic versioning for mods

Mods now have a proper version number (1.0.0 format) which follows Semantic Versioning.

When you submit a new mod you choose whether it starts as Stable (1.0.0) or a Work in Progress (0.1.0). When you update a mod you pick whether it's a Major, Minor, or Patch release - or a minor edit that doesn't bump the version at all. Each release can include markdown formatted release notes. The full version history is visible on every mod page, and each file shows which version it was introduced in.

Work in Progress indicator

WIP mods are clearly marked with a badge on the mod page so users know what they're downloading.
