Welcome to the CN Chicago Subdivision: a busy passenger and freight mainline from Downtown Chicago to Champaign, Illinois. This historic corridor was once part of the fabled Illinois Central Railroad, the mainline from Chicago to New Orleans. Today, it continues serving as an important mainline run by the Canadian National Railway (CN), transporting a mixed fleet of long-haul freight and passenger trains via Amtrak into the Illinois Prairielands.
Run Amtrak's Illini, Saluki services, and City of New Orleans, or run CN freight consists. The route captures the essence of Illinois railroading: flat terrain, fast mainlines, and nonstop action.
It took about a year to build the track from Chicago to Gilman, IL. Track laying should be done before this year is out.
Hi, I have making some great progress for the CN/IC Chicago Subdivision, Here's some progress from Chicago, IL - Chebanse, IL

Completing a portion of the CN Yazoo Sub between Swan Lake, MS and Greenwood, MS. The Old Grenada Subdivision, which parallels the Yazoo Subdivision, which runs from Memphis, Tennessee to Jackson, Mississippi, was replaced with this subdivision, which is still in use today.

I am possibly no longer making reskins for the time being. The Grenada District is no longer being worked on, but there are three routes coming up: the Mississippi Delta Route (owned by Rock Island Rail for 15 miles.), Norfolk Southern N-Line Modernized, and a 5-mile route in Texas. That's all I wanted to say.
The Grenada District's release, which was intended for this year, will now be at the end of next year.

Reskin of the Mississippi Delta Railroad SD40-2

Here we see Columbus and Greenville Railway Train coming by Winona, Mississippi towards Greenwood, Mississippi.
Hello, I'm redoing the Grenada District. This time, it's 200 miles long, from Memphis, Tennessee, to Jackson, Mississippi. and takes 4 hours to complete (following the speed limit). This was once the busiest Illinois Central hub, with almost 40 trains a day, 8 passenger trains a day, and a dozen locals.
