Description
Reskins of the LIRR M3 in five different liveries.
LIRR M1 (blue strip)
LIRR M3 (plain side)
LIRR M3 (Patch Logo)
LIRR M1 (Delivery scheme with "LI" logo)
LIRR M3 (Delivery scheme with "LI" logo)
ATTENTION: The M3 folder in this pack WILL REPLACE the default M3 texture with the faded blue strip. HOWEVER, the default M3 texture will still be available in game, as the M1 texture. If you do not want to replace the M3 texture, simply skip the instalation of the “M3” folder.
Dependencies
A Long Island legend arrives into Train Simulator Classic in the form of the iconic LIRR M3, operate this memorable EMU out of New York and Atlantic Terminal into dense commuter suburbs!
Installation Instructions
Step 1:
Unzip this file to your desktop (or any other temporary location).
Step 2:
Move the folders titled “M1”, “M1(Delivery)”, “M3”, “M3(Delivery)” and “M3(Patched Logo)”
to the following directory: RailWorks/Assets/DTG/M3EMUPack01/RailVehicles/Electric
Step 3:
Go to the following folder: RailWorks/Assets/DTG/M3EMUPack01/RailVehicles/Electric/M3/
Engine and copy the following files:
- “LIRRM3_A.GeoPcDx”
- “LIRRM3_B.GeoPcDx”
Step 4:
Paste the two files in the following folders:
- “RailWorks/Assets/DTG/M3EMUPack01/RailVehicles/Electric/M1/Engine”
- “RailWorks/Assets/DTG/M3EMUPack01/RailVehicles/Electric/M1(Delivery)/Engine”
- “RailWorks/Assets/DTG/M3EMUPack01/RailVehicles/Electric/M3/Engine”
- “RailWorks/Assets/DTG/M3EMUPack01/RailVehicles/Electric/M3(Delivery)/Engine”
- “RailWorks/Assets/DTG/M3EMUPack01/RailVehicles/Electric/M3(Patched Logo)/Engine”
Step 3:
Go to the following folder: RailWorks/Assets/DTG/M3EMUPack01/RailVehicles/Electric/M3/
CabView and copy the following file: “LIRRM3_CAB.GeoPcDx”
Step 4:
Paste the file in the following folders:
- “RailWorks/Assets/DTG/M3EMUPack01/RailVehicles/Electric/M1/Engine”
- “RailWorks/Assets/DTG/M3EMUPack01/RailVehicles/Electric/M1(Delivery)/Engine”
- “RailWorks/Assets/DTG/M3EMUPack01/RailVehicles/Electric/M3/Engine”
- “RailWorks/Assets/DTG/M3EMUPack01/RailVehicles/Electric/M3(Delivery)/Engine”
- “RailWorks/Assets/DTG/M3EMUPack01/RailVehicles/Electric/M3(Patched Logo)/Engine”
Step 5:
Test it out in Train Simulator. It will appear under the names:
- “LIRR M1 A” and “LIRR M1 B”
- “LIRR M1 A (Delivery)” and “LIRR M1 B (Delivery)”
- “LIRR M3 A” and “LIRR M3 B”
- “LIRR M3 A (Delivery)” and “LIRR M3 B (Delivery)”
- “LIRR M3 A (Patch Logo)” and “LIRR M3 B (Patch Logo)”
Step 6:
Everything should work, go and have some fun!
