This is a update of my old HLCX ex BN (8140) SD40-2 repaint.
Changes are:
I used the BN base model and added NS ditchlights (not operable)
Better overall texture quality, and more realistic weathering.
Corrected font on reporting mark and numbers.
This engine is marked as V2 so that you can still have the old and new one installed.
V3 update of the repaint, changes are:
I used the BNSF exBN 02 base model from the JR/SS BNSF Bundle.
slight texture overhaul and texture map fix to go with the new SD40 model.
You now have a more realistic repaint because of the new model is giving us operable ditchlights.
This engine is marked as V3 so that you can still have the old and new one installed.
This project was done in colleboration between Ray Preyma (The Batman) and me.
Thanks to my friend Dominic Hinson for testing this repaint.

-The JR/SS Norfolk Southern SD40-2 (for the old Version):

Installation instructions are in the respective folders for version 2 (BN model) or V3 (BNSF ex BN model)
Additional Comments
This repaint is made for the BNSF Bundle version 1.0.0.0 so it could happen that you get texture errors when using a newer version of the Bundle.
An update for the BNSF Bundle 1.0.0.2 is in the works, no ETA.
If you use the patch 1.0.0.2 and have problems with the textures let me know down in the comments, it maybe can help me.

For the horn it is required that u have the BN SD40-2 too.

Hello friend, I have installed V3 version, but there is a selective error. I don't know why the game crashes
Oh that is bad, because most of times i cannot fix errors i dont have on my end too. But can u maybe tell me what error exactly happens?
When I selected it in the quick group, the game broke down
I´m sorry to hear that, but unfortunatly i cannot help you with that, because the loco was tested and is functional on my testers and my own side. Most likely it would be the game having some problem with it´and that is not fixable in most cases. The only things i can suggest to you wopuld be to reinstall the original loco or/and the repaint and also maybe clearing the cashe of the game. thats all i can say to you. I hope it´ll work.
