The Deansgate corridor can be a time warp at the best of times. Trains every couple of minutes cutting right through the heart of Manchester to far flung destinations...and Cleethorpes. That means when disaster strikes it doesn't do it by half measures. Thankfully it's linked to Merseyside by 2 railways: Cheshire Lines and Chat Moss. Although you should be on the former, it's actually the latter that will save the day.
