Hamburger Hafen und Logistik AG (HHLA) is one of the main container logistic company in the Port of Hamburg. In 2009, HHLA invested and controlled the Czech Private Rail Company Railtransport and renamed it as METRANS Rail in 2011.
Railtransport owned some DR V60 and V100 and often lease from other company such as Mittelweserbahn. METRANS Rail now owned more than 40 TRAXX and 30 Vectron.
In 2018, METRANS Rail introduced the TRAXX AC3 with at least 6 of them from the Akiem.
