On December 15 2012, 10 exact years ago from today, I embarked on a short journey on trainset CRH3-007C from Beijing to Tanggu. This is, among all those trips I had on this route, the only one I actually took picture of the train and able to identify the consist number.
The trip was not the most enjoyable for some reason, but was surely memorable, and this reskin is a memorial for that trip. A lot happened in 10 years.
Anyways, this reskin is available on all ICE3s currently available (Koln, Munich, Kassel). Each one contains two different versions: The "Early version" is the one that most closely match the period I rode on the train. The "late version" is what's currently on th esame trainset, the major difference being the addition of rail logo, sightseeing class inscripion, and the new EMU consist numbers, all on the cab cars.
