On routes like Frankfurt S-Bahn or Mannheim Kaiserlautern you might experience crashes.
This is due to the 101 not being loaded. Sadly, this bug can't be fixed in our pack...

I think further improvement is needed.
First, the external view
・The motor sound is not well finished. (Myron's ICE-T sound mod is better.)
・At speeds exceeding 85-90 km/h, the motor sound is no longer audible in the external view.
• Unrelated background noise seems to be mixed in with the joint sounds.
• I think the joint sounds should be made simpler and more realistic.
Next, the interior view:
• The motor sound quality is still rough around the edges. (Myron's ICE-T Sound Mod is superior.)

I mean it's fair that, everyone has their own liking in sound, myrons soundmod might sound more "artisitc" but is wrong in terms of "realisim and simulation"

The motor sounds are audible, the running sounds are just louder, as per reality. If you get close enough, you'll be able to hear them.
Talking about the joint sounds: how do you expect us to record exterior joint sounds? Also, all of the interior cab control and bogie sounds were taken from high quality in-cab recordings. Traction sounds might be adjusted later on if we get better recordings, but eh. If you really dislike this that much, just use the Myron one instead, even if it still uses ICE 3 sounds for the bogies and cab controls ^^

About the joint sound
This is true for the original DTG add-on..., the joint sound is supposed to be the sound when passing through a turnout, which sounds unnatural on sections with joints 25m apart. (However, the original sound is not that loud, so it is not noisy)
How to record the joint sound on the external view...
I think the only way is to record it where the rail joints are. (It's obvious…).
About the motor sound
I think the base is done.
Of course you have tried Myron's latest mod?
Myron's mod also seems to be based on the motor sound of an actual car.
I don't think I need to give you an example, but this is the actual motor sound.

Also, I didn't mention the cab sound in this review. I think the sound of the cab levers is better.
Myron's mod is mainly about motor sounds, so it's not surprising if the cab and bogie sounds haven't changed... (although I'd like to see him do it if he can...)
No matter how good the sound can be taken, if the finish is not good, the result will not be good. The best part unique to electric cars is the sound of the motor. I think most people who like electric cars share that.
I said as much to Myron in his previous version of the mod. As the premier railroad simulator game, I think the best thing to do is to make it more realistic if you are going to make it.
the motor sound in the external view disappears above around 90 km/h, as reviewed in Myron's ICE3 Sound mod. It's not a matter of getting closer or anything. (I can hear the sound in the interior view at speeds above that, though.
Ok, let's go through all your points one by one, shall we?
Recording joint sounds at rail joints is obviously one way to do it, but getting sounds at all speeds specifically from an ICE T just takes way too long and is not in-scope for a freeware modpack. Additionally, differantiating between those two type of joint triggers you mentioned just isn't quite possible in TSW.
Regarding the motor sounds: we've also taken sounds from the real thing, and we've implemented them accordingly. The only real issue that makes a big difference is the placement of the sound sources; gearbox sounds should have their origin inside the bogie, traction inverter sounds inside the motor. On the 411, said motor is placed underfloor and not inside the bogie, but we've used DTGs placement of said sound origins, which is inside the bogie for both. This may result in a form of the beat phenomenon, which ends up with sounds sounding wobble. I'll see if we can fix this.
Also, the motor sounds don't disappear at 90. I've checked this multiple times now. There's a switch to 3P at 92 km/h, which we've implemented. This is very well audible.
Also, you're free to just not use this mod and the Myron one insteat if you don't like this.
Jrails TK, if you dislike the sounds of the EP then it's probably smarter to not waste yours and the other folks' time aswell as this webpage's vertical length, and just not use the EP but my soundmod instead, as you seem to exaggerately glaze over it.
Although, now I would also like to respond to two of your phrases...

Or do you mean a railcar of the 411/415? if that's the case, I must let you know that soundmods, no matter who makes them or how they sound, are usually always based on the real sound, that's quite literally the goal of the modder anyway.

I feel like you don't really understand a few things, which 1. is how the sounds really work, or just are, in reality, and 2. what effort it takes to recreate them for a simulator, and 3. that different people can work on the same type of content in different ways, achieving different results, as you can clearly hear between those two traction soundsets by both me and Raphael.
Long story short: you are confusing and trying to prove a point only you think exists.

I knew that the joint sound of the DTG is only the wheels stepping sound on the joints of the track(external view). But I think that point is realistic and correct. In fact, both the rail joint sound and the turnout sound are the sound of stepping on a joint. It makes it less unnatural to pass joints at low speeds, or even at Ruhr-Sieg Nord, where there are joints every 25m or so. It appears that the mod uses a fixed joint passing sound.
To add, in the case of the DTG, in the external view, it's the joint sound of each wheel (which is a poor sound), and in the in-car view, it's the sound when passing a point. So the original sound itself in the car is also unnatural on a line with joints spaced 25m apart.
Regarding the external view, the motor sound was sounding. My apologies. I just thought it was very quiet and not sounding.
I hope we can build up a better mod.

Leider funktoniert die Mod bei mir nicht. Habe die zwei DEPENDENCIES MOD beide gelöscht und erneut Heruntergeladen. Im spiel wird mir die Bauhreihe 411 nicht angezeigt und nach erneutem löschen und herunterladen der Mod selbst funktonoierte es leider immernoch nicht. Könnt ihr mir vielleicht weiterhelfen?

Ich habe die Mod deinstalliert und jetzt funtioniert wieder alles.

Das ist der Kilometerstandsanzeiger. Der Sound spielt genau jeden gefahrenen Kilometer ab. Hört man in der Realität auch so.

Moin Ich wollte heute auch mal wieder ne runde im TSW fahren als ich auf der S bahn Frankfurt die Fahrplan Fahrt RB 75( 28700) ausgewählt habe Stürzte mein game ab mit der fehlermeldung Unreal engine und im Text dann mit eurer Mod dass diese dazu führt.

Something to do with AL Test Object causes 415 to dump the game, both versions GSMR and Non. Even in a clean TTC World with the dependencies all spawned in before.

Thank you Bahnpfuschhochschule for this awesome mod. I always found the ICE T to be very plain, lifeless and even boring train to drive compared to 406 (especially with Myron's sound mod), but this mod made me fall in love with it. Sounds are half the experience I'd say. This mod has not only elevated my gameplay to a newer level with it, but also given me plenty hours of enjoyment.
I see many Dresden–Leipzig support comments already here, so I might as well add mine to the pile. This mod defenitely deserves to function on Dresden–Leipzig route!
Could the fault with the BR 415, where the electric brakes are always applied, still be rectified?
And only 2 drive motors with power are displayed.
Any chance of making this compatible with the (expert-)timetable of Leipzig-Dresden?
