This mod changes the track unevenness to 2.0 - the maximum value possible for unevenness (usually around 0.1 to 0.5 - dependent upon the type of track used on it - by vanilla) and the track adhession to 0.1 (usally around 1.0/0.9 by vanilla) in the track rule assets.
Speed limits are not changed and keep as they are in the vanilla DLC!
So lately I was in a conversation with
✧TFM-Germany✧ about my last track rule mode for Mittenwaldbahn, whether I can make the track uneveness as a separate mod without the changed speed changes. Yes of course! However, in all of my previous track modes, I never really was sure about the effect of me changing the parameter to certain values. So I came to the idea of making an experimental test mod to see how rough it could be stretching the values of track unevenness and track adhesion to its maximum. So again, this is experimental.
And this is what I wanted to test with this mod.
The result is more than noticable and could be even annoying I would say, but bare in mind this is an experimantal mod - so use at your own intention! At speeds above 40 km/h the wonkyness gets noticable pretty strong. But it might be cool to enhance the feeling of extreme weather conditions.
Available for:
I kept the paks separated for each route, so you can decide to install where.
Keep your vomit bags ready!
Info for users of my previous track rule mods for Mittenwaldbahn, Maintalbahn and Niddertalbahn:
These will not be compatible to these ones here. The paks of the extreme track conditions will overwrite the state of the track rule asset and make my previous track rule mods useless/deactivated.
General advice, you can use Task Play's Mod Manager to enable/disable these paks easily. I highly recommend to use it as it allows you to have the mods installed, but to activate/deactivate them without the need to remove them from the DLC folder on your own.
After downloading, copy or move the pak files of your choice into the DLC folder under
(Train Sim World)\WindowsNoEditor\TS2Prototype\Content\DLC
For Steam, this is
(path to your steam library)\steamapps\common\Train Sim World 5\WindowsNoEditor\TS2Prototype\Content\DLC
Uninstalling just by deleting the pak file or moving it to a different folder or subfolder. You can use TaskPlays's Mod Manager to enable/disable the mod easily.
