Description
A small mod which fixes a few things about New York to Stamford.
NYS Route Gameplay:
- Added subbing for CSX locomotives (SD40-2 and GP38-2).
NYS AMTK ACS-64:
- Made the ADU much more readable on small screens.
- Reduced the flange squealing sound.
NYS AMTK Amfleet:
- Added the brake squeal sound effects present in the files.
- Reduced the flange squealing sound.
Release history
3.20.26: Initial Release.
3.21.26: Added Amfleet brake squealing.
3.21.26b: Reduced the flange squealing sound.
3.21.26c: Added 10 patches for the SD40-2.
3.22.26: Added 6 more patches for the SD40-2, including ACSES.
3.29.26: Removed all patches for the SD40-2 and crossing bell audio (as it wasn't working)
5.24.26: Changed SD40-2 formation to match DTG's (confusing) change.
Dependencies
New York - Stamford DLC.
Installation Instructions
Simply place the .pak file in ...\Documents\My Games\TrainSimWorld6\Saved\UserContent (note: not verified to work on anything other than the Steam release of TSW6)
Also ensure you have mods enabled in your settings.
Additional Comments
While I have largely taken a step back from modding, I felt the need to patch a few small things on the new NYS route. I may or may not add more patches to this in the future.
3.29.26: Due to apparent issues with some versions of the game and the alerter, and constant complaining from the community (both off and on site), I have elected to remove the SD40-2 patches from this mod. I hold no ill-will to anyone who wishes to keep the prior version of the mod, but I would respect those who have it not to extract the files and redistribute them in their mods.
