Taurus Soundmod

The 182 was one of the first german locomotives introduced in Train Sim World 2020. Unfortunately, the sound of it hasn't really been convincing at all. I thought it was time to change that.

Changes:

• new traction motor sound cue setup and sounds, including the iconic 15th step slightly raising in pitch
• changed rolling sound setup to finally have interior rolling sounds

UPDATE: Added sound changes to Dispolok 182 and ÖBB 1116. Unfortunately I cannot make it work with a custom cue, so I just had to directly replace the scale steps, leaving it with DTG's setup, which means the first 2 steps will be missing. These 2 will only have the new scale sounds, no new rolling sounds.

This mod can really only be considered a mini-soundmod as it only changes 2 (yet major) things. I might add more in the future.

Installation Instructions

Drop the .pak into your DLC folder, found under the following path:
...\steamapps\common\Train Sim World X\WindowsNoEditor\TS2Prototype\Content\DLC

Additional Comments

Currently only applies to Rapid Transit's DB 182 and Hamburg-Lübeck's MRCE 182. I am having issues getting this to work with the Kassel-Würzburg Dispolok 182 and the Semmeringbahn ÖBB 1116, I however hope I can get it to work for an update.

Now works for all Tauri.
