Metro North Sound Enhancements

Commonly with routes released on TSW, I thought these sounds were not up to par. Espeically with the M8 being a brand new addition and partly recycling sounds from the M9.

This mod reworks and improves many of the sounds on both the new M8 from New York - Stamford AND the M7A from the Harlem Line. Each are available as a seperate download.
You do NOT need New York Stamford for the M7A mod to work, only Harlem Line. Works with the Harlem Line, and is compatible with Stamford.

Metro-North Kawasaki M8
ALL of the following changed M8 sounds were taken only from the M8 railcar itself for the most authentic and accurate experience.

• New authentic "Hiss" traction motor sound.
• New 'switchgear' PWM phase switch traction motor.
• New accurate exterior and interior horn.
• New accurate HVAC
• New flange squeal sounds and layers.
• All new joint and junction sounds for all speeds.

Smaller adjustments include

• Adjusted mixing and volume of all Traction Motor sounds
• Improved running sounds

Metro-North Bombardier M7A

• New high and low inverter sound, both interior and exterior.
• New Decel inverter.
• New accurate M7A Ext & Int horn.
• New Flange squeal sounds.
• New HVAC accurate to the M7A.

Unfortunately, I was unable to change the beeping on door close on the M7A.
Please note this will change the A.I horns as well, as they will automatically sound the horn at stations. Huge improvement I think. But you may be the judge of that.

• Fixed corrupted M7A motor sounds

UPDATE #2 (3/27)

• Normalized some overly loud sounds. Reduced traction sounds for both the M8 and M7A, and fixed some remaining broken sounds.
• Implemented final flange squeal sound changes to the M8, should sound much more complete.
• Added M7A internal horn accurate to the M7A, no longer ripped from the M7 LIRR
• Fixed the 'hiss' motor cutting in aburptly on the M8, now it slowly leads in on initial acceleration as per reality.

• small update changing balancing on horn sounds, joint and flange sounds.
• corrected pitch of horn
• improved tm sounds, shouldn't have "random grinding" as some described
• added more new flange sounds
