LIRR Commuter Auto Alarm Acknowledger

Set Up Instructions:

1. Run TSW5 and select the desired timetable or scenario.
2. Once the train simulation loads open the LIRR Auto Alarm Acknowledger program.
3. Set the same keyboard key used to acknowledge safety / speed alarms on the M7 or M9 in the "Set Key" text box. The TSW5 keyboard default for alarm acknowledgment is usually "q".
4. Set the duration for the countdown in the "Duration" text box. Duration timer is measured in seconds. Best results are from 3-6 seconds and can vary depending on which branch line the train is running on.
5. Click the Start button and minimize the app. Closing the app will stop the program, the app must be running while operating the train.

NOTE: Keep any other running programs to a minimum as the app will override and key onto most programs that are in focus. Always make sure to close the LIRR Auto Alarm Acknowledger when not using it.
