Drive 6024 ‘King Edward I’ from Kingswear to Exeter at the head of Past-Time-Rail’s ‘Torbay Express’ series of trains in the summer of 2005.
Undoubtedly the best period of main line steam in recent(ish) times with a great variety of locomotives turn up all around the UK.
The Torbays were some of the best short distance railtours offering some excellent 75mph running and stunning scenery and weather (mostly) too.
On the glorious evening of 28th August 2005 you will drive 6024 from Kingswear to Exeter at the head of the return working.
