At Eastport, Idaho, Union Pacific and CPKC (formerly CP) transfer trains to each other across their respective borders. One of thse trains is symbol GMETFO, which is a loaded unit grain train, running from Canada on the CP to Famoso, California. This routing puts the train over the Black Butte Subdivison, and your task today is to take GMETFO from Klamath Falls to Dunsmuir in two parts. Your train has 5 locomotives--all CP and all Searchlight Simulations masterpeices. You have 98 cars on the drawbar, and one of the most scenic--and difficult--subdivisions in the west ahead of you.
Part 1 takes you from Klamath Falls to Andesite, and is 100 minutes long. This part is rather simple.
Part 2 takes you from Andesite to Dunsmuir, and is 120 minutes long. This part is the literall manifestation of Satan's realm.
(Remember, no save and load on these locos, so make sure you have enough time to finish the scenario in one go)
These scenarios both take eons to load into, and the game often stops responding for a few seconds when they finally do...the sideffects to only using the best stuff.
The signalling was giving me lots of crap on the second part, so there are a bunch of very jank ways of getting the AI to actually function properly. If you don't mess with it it should work fine.
As usual, payware requirements are linked below, the rest is freeware and linked in the readme, as is more prototype and scenario info (which you should read, makes the second part moderatly easier).
**Please double check that all dependencies are installed correctly before notifying me about stuff not loading.
